Why Sri Lankan coir ?
Among the most important requirements when producing international grade coconut coir or cocopeat, is the weight of the coconut husk ( the part of the coconut which is taken for production of all cocopeat or coir products ). The required coconut husk weight for excellent grade coir products is between 450g - 700g. The average weight of a coconut grown in Sri Lanka is 500g - 700g, while other countries' are varying around 250g.

With this massive advantage the products would come out the production line with much higher quality, much faster since lesser raw material is needed. When needed to use the end product as a growing medium, less water would be needed to fully expand the compressed block, and very little to no chemicals needed to add to the soil since Sri Lankan cocopeat is high in macro and micro nutrients needed by plants including potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium and sodium. In addition, cocopeat can hold water and chemical elements of fertilizer and neutralize soil acidity.
