Fiber is chopped into 0.5 – 2.5 cm size fiber and compressed into bales. This cut fiber is used in hydro mulching or hydroseeding mixtures in the agriculture industry. Using cut fiber in hydroseeding mixtures provides a better medium for seed germination. The coir fiber in the coir mulch provides structural stability to the hydro-mulch mix.
